What is the PMI PgMP and Why should I Obtain it?

The Project Management Institute (PMI) PgMP is a highly regarded professional credential in program management. More and more organizations are realizing the value of this certification. PMI is the most recognized organization for providing recommended project and program management best practices.

PMI initially started offering the PgMP in 2007 and since then relatively few people have successfully passed the exam and holds this certification.  This credential promotes efficient and effective communication and coordination among various project management groups and was developed to acknowledge the qualifications of  professionals who are ultimately responsible for ensuring the success of programs.
